You have a choice to make this weekend...
God prefers you stay pure, and not sleep with that special friend this weekend. What choice will you make?
God prefers you don’t take those drugs this weekend, and that you live guilt free and be above the crowd you are hanging with. What choice will you make?
God prefers you build your character, show love and compassion and bond with others who are like-minded. He wants you to go to church this Sunday. What choice will you make.
All these small choices will create many moments of joy or grief for you in the coming days and years. Don’t listen to the devil.
Our choices today will be making our tomorrows. And because of the choices, some of us won’t have a tomorrow.
Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT)
19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
—Pastor Dean
" God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us. And God has given us His Spirit as proof that we live in Him and He in us. Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. All who confess that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. "
